The problem with cheap security cameras

You can set and save specific positions, which is genuinely useful if you want the camera to scan a room or jump between preset angles automatically. Multiple buyers have confirmed that auto-tracking works out of the box without any complicated setup. One buyer from Romania specifically called out the Google Home/Nest integration as the standout feature, noting it was the best they had found on AliExpress for that purpose. A buyer from Germany was on their second unit. That kind of repeat purchase tells you something.

Motion and sound detection both trigger notifications, and worth noting that these work without a memory card - you do not need local storage to get real-time alerts. This camera is genuinely above that tier. Pan/tilt movement, 4MP resolution, and working Google Home plus Alexa integration are features that typically show up in cameras costing $70-$100 from recognized brands. The 59% discount makes the price look dramatic, but even at its listed full price this would be competitive. At $23 it is hard to argue against.

If you want professional-grade storage, dedicated support, or a camera that a non-technical family member can set up without help, then a Wyze Cam or entry-level Eufy might serve you better - they cost more but the ecosystem experience is smoother.

Buy it if you want indoor smart home camera coverage without spending serious money, if you already use Google Home, Alexa, or Tuya-based devices and want to add a camera to that setup, or if you are comfortable configuring devices yourself.

Skip it if you need a polished app experience, dedicated English-language support, or you are buying this for someone who will not want to troubleshoot anything.

My honest take: for Price: $23 (was $56), this is one of the better value smart home cameras I have come across. The Tuya app is the only thing holding it back from a stronger recommendation, and for most users it is fine. If you are already in the Tuya or Google Home ecosystem, this is a straightforward win.
